Okay so enough with the long intro and let's get on to the skincare tips.
1.Drink plenty of water (as in lots and lots and lots of water)
I know I know,you all have heard this saying like a million times already but it is true.
Do you have dry skin?
If your answer is yes,it's probably because you haven't been keeping yourself hydrated enough.Overcoming this problem is easy,just drink lots of water.We already know that we should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day but is it really enough to keep us fully hydrated? Based on my findings,the answer is no.
I have been drinking 8 glasses of water a day but my skin is still dry.Maybe there are other possibilities but I'm pretty sure it's about the amount of water I drink *inserts favorite Whatsapp smiley here*.So what I did was I drank MORE THAN 8 GLASSES OF WATER A DAY.My Science teacher said that it can be dangerous to drink too much water but I figured that drinking a little bit more than the required limit can't hurt so I went for it.It made a huge difference.I really thought I always drank enough water but seeing the difference now,I realized I haven't!
So even if you think you already drink too much water everyday,try drinking a little bit more and you can see & feel the difference.I swear my skin is like 10x better now :D
2.Lotion

Doesn't matter what kind or brand of lotion it is.
Right now,I'm currently using "Goats-milk Body Lotion".And yes,it is the lotion version of the Goats-milk soap :)) It even smells the same!
3.Sleep early
You have to sleep early even though the internet may not allow you to! :))
Advantages:
- keeps your body healthy & your heart happy! :D
- helps to keep your skin hydrated & glowing ;)
- your cells will multiply when you sleep and you'll get taller faster!
- your bones will become stronger & firmer
- it prevents pimples from breaking out in your face
- reduces eye bags
- keeps your hair shiny
- makes your voice stronger (keeps your throat healthy)
- you will have more energy after you sleep early (because you got enough rest)
The advantages above are just some of it.There are plenty more.Yes I know it's hard to sleep early due to the cruel internet but try to :)
Repeat this on a daily basis and you should see & feel the difference.
4.Avoid touching your face
Especially if you have long nails and unclean hands.I know it's tempting to touch your face.I do it too.But try to avoid touching it.You'll prevent pimples this way.
Also,always wash your hands! And cut your nails once every week or so.Depending on how fast your nails grow.Remember,nails grow faster on cold weather.
5.Wash your face ONLY with water (if you have dry or sensitive skin)
If you have dry or sensitive skin,I'd recommend you to only wash your face with water and not with soap.And then after washing your face with water,you can proceed to your daily skincare routine.
6.Tie your hair (keep your hair out of your face)
This will prevent skin irritation.Yes,our face gets irritated easily.Especially when it comes to our hair.
7.Clean your hand-phone
What is the object that we always put near our face? Our hand-phones of course! It is very important to clean our hand-phones because if we don't,the oil & dirt from the phone can transfer to our face causing horrible breakouts.
So you might wanna clean your phone before putting it near your face to call someone.
*Helpful Tricks
Wanna get rid of pimples fast? There's a solution!
1.Toothpaste:Probably the most common solution out there.
Directions:Apply a dot of toothpaste to pimple-infected areas or to your whole face if you like (prevention) :)) Warning! It burns like hell mahn.Try to bear with it.Beauty is pain lol :)) Try to leave it for a minute (if you can :P) or for a short while then wash it off.Keep repeating this process everyday or twice a week and you will see the difference ;)
2.Salt Solution:I just discovered this when I was browsing the web and fortunately,it's painless.
You'll need:a mug filled with lukewarm water,2 tablespoons of salt,cotton balls.
Directions:Add 2 tablespoons of salt in the mug together with the lukewarm water.Stir.I'd recommend doing this when you're taking a bath because it can be quite messy.Get the cotton balls.Dip the cotton balls in the mug and then squeeze off the excess water and apply the cotton ball directly in the pimple and hold it there for a few minutes.
Keep repeating this process for as many times as you'd like.
**Don't dip the same cotton ball twice in the mug.
